About me

I am a Silversmith and Jeweller working with traditional techniques to create beautiful, tangible pieces that express my fascination with elemental beauty and movement of energy within the natural world.

Tucked away in my studio in the beautiful Cotswold village of Chalford, each piece of work, from the smallest of studs to the largest of vessels is hand made with love, care and attention.

Hand tools such as hammers, and uniquely fashioned steel punches are used to translate undulation and scrumptious texture into the silver.

The age-old techniques I use include Chasing and Repoussé, Hand Raising, Snarling, Fusing and fabrication, and I have received numerous awards for my work within these areas.

Qualifications and Training

I graduated from the University of Creative Arts in Rochester with a 1st class BA hons in Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery Design and then completed a years postgraduate study at the renowned Bishopsland Educational Trust for Silversmiths and Jewellers becoming a fellow in 2010.

I ventured up to Sheffield for a further 2 years to take part in the Yorkshire Artspace Programme for young Career Silversmiths and Jewellers where I was mentored by Brett Payne. I loved the 'City of Steel' so much that 2 years became 6. In 2017 I set up my workshop in the charming Cotswold village of Chalford. I was awarded a Queen Elizabeth scholarship in 2018 and went up to Shetland to train under Master Silversmith and Chaser Rod Kelly. I am now a QEST Scholar.
